芯片级变压器也可以用在隔离式DC-DC转换器中,从而将数据和电源隔离集成到单个封装中.iCoupler产品就有这种能力,isoPower隔离式DC-DC转换器可集成到隔离式数据通道所在的同一薄型表贴封装中.考虑上例中的零线电流检测.传统上使用电流互感器,因为它本身能够提供隔离,但电流互感器必须为直流兼容型以免饱和,这会提高其成本.此外它还会引入相位延迟,爱普生晶振相位延迟随频率成分不同而异,因此难以在整个频谱范围内进行补偿.分流电阻具有明显的优势.不仅价格低廉,不受外部交流或直流磁场的影响,而且与用于检测相电流的分流电阻具有相同的特性.然而分流电阻本身不具隔离性.使用集成DC-DC转换器和隔离数据通道的数字隔离器可以解决这一问题.这样就产生一种新的单相防窃电智能电表结构.
